On 22/8/18 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit (1) driving, parking and/or loading for all vehicular traffic on both sides of the following roads:- (a) B952 Airlie Street/Banff Road from its junction with Victoria Street to its junction with Chapel Street a distance of 347.17 metres or thereby; (b) Barrel Wynd from its junction with Banff Road to its junction with Pitnacree Street a distance of 68.42 metres or thereby; (c) Market Square for its full circulatory route from its junction with Bamff Road to its junction with Airlie Street a distance of 133.09 metres or thereby; (d) Pitnacree Street from its junction with Market Square to its junction with Barrel Wynd a distance of 58.84 metres or thereby; and (2) parking and/or loading for all vehicular traffic on both sides of the following roads:- (i) Albert Street from its junction with Bamff Road to its junction with Alexandra Street a distance of 162.03 metres or thereby; (ii) Alexandra Street from its junction with Albert Street to its junction with St Ninian’s Road a distance of 244.06 metres or thereby; (iii) St Ninian’s Road from its junction with Alexandra Street to its junction with the B952 Airlie Street a distance of 166.62 metres or thereby; and (iv) Mill Street from its junction with Parkside Road to its junction with the private access to the Burnside Pub a distance of 126.82 metres or thereby; Alternative route: B846 – U174. This applies from 27/8/18 for an estimated period of 3 months to permit Alyth Square refurbishment works. Pedestrian and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.
