On 22/03/16 the Council made the above Order under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the purpose of allowing the GB Youth Cycle Event to take place in safety between 02/04/16 and 04/04/16. The Order will prohibit temporarily (i) all vehicular traffic, cyclists (other than those participating in the GB Youth Cycle Event and bearing race accreditation), the riding of horses, the leading or driving of horses, cattle, sheep or other animals and (ii) loading (both sides) on the following roads:-

On 02/04/16, 08:00-16:00:- (a) B935 Forteviot to Forgandenny from its junction with the B934 Dunning to A9(T) Cairnie Braes to its junction with the C412 Invermay; (b) C412 Invermay from its junction with the B935 Forteviot to Forgandenny to its junction with the U52 Green of Invermay and (c) U52 Green of Invermay from its junction with the C412 Invermay to its junction with the B935 Forteviot to Forgandenny.

On 03/04/16, 09:00-16:00:- (a) C18 (Markethill-Ardler-Meigle) from U234 to C20; (b) C20 (Keillor-Ardler Station) from C18 to C16; (c) C16 (Lintrose-Newtyle-Glamis) from C20 to U348; and (d) U348 (Flatfield Road) from C16 to C18.

On 04/04/16, 08:00-13:00:- (a) U56 Station Road, Forgandenny from its junction with the B935 Main Road to its junction with the Access Road to Strathallan School and (b) School Road, Forgandenny from its junction with the U56 Station Road to its junction with the Access Road to Strathallan School.
The alternative route for vehicles will be as per diversion signage. Emergency service vehicle access will be maintained and pedestrian access will be maintained to premises adjoining or adjacent to any road affected by the Order.
