On 24 September 2018 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on sewer connection works) on Honeywell Crescent, Chapelhall from the extended eastern kerb line of Arranview Street, eastwards for a distance of 50 metres or thereby by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Alternative routes: Vehicles on the west side of the closure wishing to access the east side of the closure should proceed on Honeywell Crescent, Lauchope Street, A73 Main Street, Main Street and Honeywell Crescent to the east side of the closure.

Vehicles on the east side of the closure wishing to access the west side of the closure should proceed vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.

The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on Saturday, 13 October 2018 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday, 28 October 2018.
