On 24 September 2018 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 MPH on Gartloch Road, Gartcosh from a point 60 metres southwest of the extended west kerbline of Scalloway Road to a point 410 metres southwest of the extended west kerbline of Scalloway Road (to Council Boundary with Glasgow City Council) by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on Wednesday, 10 October 2018 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Wednesday, 7 November 2018.
