On 10 September 2018 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on carriageway resurfacing works) on Birch Road, Cumbernauld from the undernoted roads by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
Residents parking will be permitted outwith the hours 0830 – 1700 each day.
The Order will come into operation at 0900 hours on Monday, 24 September 2018 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday, 30 September 2018.
