On 2 July 2018 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on the Charity Fun Day) on Cairntoul Court, Cumbernauld from the extended east kerbline opposite number 114/116 to the junction with Balloch Road by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Alternative routes: Vehicles on the west side of the closure should proceed via Cairntoul Court and Balloch Road.
Vehicles on the east side of the closure should proceed vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
The Order will come into operation at 0900 hours and will remain in operation until 1730 hours on Saturday, 21 June 2018.
