MORAY COUNCIL (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, HARBOUR STREET AND ADJOINING STREETS, HOPEMAN (EXTENSION NO. 1) ORDER 2021

Moray Council has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended). The general effect of the Order which will come into operation on 26/11/21 will be to introduce additional “No Waiting at any time Restrictions” on Harbour Street, Hopeman as specified in the Schedule to the Order. The proposed restrictions will complement existing prohibitions and maintain access for all road users in the interests of road safety. The Order is as specified in the Northern Scot on 06/08/21 with minor amendments to take account of concerns raised during consultation.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act or that any of the relevant requirements arising from the Act are not being complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 15/10/21 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
