Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works the full length of Whitehill Drive and Jean Armour Drive, from Whitehill Drive to Clarinda Gardens, will be closed. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 5 January 2021*. Work is expected to take about 4 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic and buses will be via Woodburn Terrace and Jean Armour Drive (from Clarinda Gardens to Woodburn Terrace).
