(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2019

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate sewer and service connections to the new housing development, Sawmill Terrace will be closed between South Chesters Gardens and Grove Farm Gardens. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 8 April 2019 and it is expected that work will take about 2 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be via South Chesters Medway, Auld Coal Medway, Auld Coal Road and Burnbrae Road.
