(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2019

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate the installation of rising water mains and other services for the CALA Homes site, Mauricewood Road will be closed between Meikle Drive and the Mauricewood Steadings junctions. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 25 February 2019 and it is expected that work will take about 12 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic and buses will be via Belwood Road and A701.
