(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2018

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate the installation of rising water mains and other services relative to the CALA Homes site, Mauricewood Road will be closed from between the Meikle Drive and Mauricewood Steadings junctions. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 19 November 2018 and it is expected that the work will take about 5 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic and buses will be via Belwood Road and the A701.
