(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2018

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate Scottish Water mains renewal works, Seafield Road will be closed from its junction with the A701 to in line with the entrance to 6 Seafield Road. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 19 February 2018 and it is expected that the work will take about 4 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic and buses will be via Myrtle Crescent and Meadow Place.
