THE FALKIRK COUNCIL
(A9 OUTSIDE HELIX PARK AND FALKIRK STADIUM, FALKIRK)
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE)
(NO.TTRO/1889) ORDER 2023
The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, that the footway on the northside of the A904 adjacent to
Forth Valley College to the pedestrian crossing to the Helix Park on the west side of
the A9, and the footway on the southside of the A904 from Alexander Avenue to
Stadium Roundabout on the westside of the A9 will be temporarily closed from 06.00
hours on 30/10/23 until 18.00 hours on 30/04/25, Falkirk Council being satisfied that
the execution of the works requires this duration for completion. The footway closure
is necessary for public safety reasons during road improvement works.

2. This Order temporarily closes the footway on the northside of the A904
adjacent to Forth Valley College to the pedestrian crossing to the Helix
Park on the west side of the A9.
3. This Order temporarily closes the footway on the southside of the A904
from Alexander Avenue to Stadium Roundabout on the westside of the
A9.
4. The alternative routes are via paths within the Helix Park, adjacent to
Falkirk Stadium and along Alexander Avenue.
