Temporary road restrictions:
Broom Road, Mearns Road and Broom Road East, Newton Mearns
A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order has been promoted authorising the closure of sections of Broom Road, Mearns Road and Broom Road East, Newton Mearns to vehicular traffic to ensure the safety of the general public and of the workers carrying out the resurfacing.
The closures of Broom Road and Broom Road East will be from their respective junctions with Mearns Road for a distance of 40 metres or thereby. The closure of Mearns Road will be between its junctions with Falkland Avenue and Kirkle Drive.
The Order will be in effect from Monday 7 August until Sunday 13 August 2017 or on completion of the works if sooner. Pedestrian access will be unaffected.
