A199 Beanston Mains / Monksmuir – Carriageway Resurfacing - East Lothian

It is the Councils intention to undertake carriageway resurfacing works at the above location commencing on Monday 6^th May 2024 for approximately 4 weeks, weather permitting.

The works will be undertaken with temporary traffic lights and will be undertaken in sections to minimise disruption, see attached location plan. Access to Beanston Mains Road and Monksmuir will be maintained at all times.

Existing bus stops will not be in use when work is undertaken in sections 2 & 3. Please use temporary bus stops provided.

Approximate dates for each section are as follows:-

Section 1 – Monday 6^th to Tuesday 14^th May

Section 2 – Wednesday 15^th to Friday 24^th May

Section 3 – Monday 27^th to Friday 31^st May

Please note the above dates are subject to change due to the weather dependant nature of the works. This notice will be updated if there are any changes or updates to the above information.
