East Lothian Council are currently undertaken carriageway resurfacing works on the above location.
In order to comply with the current health and safety legislation, it will be necessary to close a section of the B1345 (Dirleton Toll to Chapelhill Road) from the A198 Dirleton Toll junction northwards for a distance of 30 metres. It will also be necessary to suspend the existing one-way order (slip road) to facilitate access and egress during the works.
MONDAY 7th TO FRIDAY 11th OCTOBER 2019
Work will be undertaken using three-way temporary traffic signals to retain access / egress.
No vehicles will be permitted on the closed section of the road with the exception of emergency service and construction vehicles.

East Lothian Council will be undertaking carriageway resurfacing works on the above road commencing on Monday 30th September 2019 for two weeks, weather permitting.
In order to comply with current Health & Safety legislation, it will be necessary to install a traffic management system during the work.
East Lothian Council apologise in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
