On the 23 April 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on the B819 Crosshill Road, Bishopbriggs between its junctions with Cole Road, Bishopbriggs and Boghead Road, Lenzie, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.

This Order will operate from 09.30 hours on Monday, 6 May until 18.00 hours on Friday, 31 May 2024.

Alternative Route

The alternative routes will be by way of the B819 Crosshill Road, Cole Road, the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, Westerhill Road, Wester Lumloch Road, the B812 Auchinairn Road/Robroyston Road, Bishopbriggs, the B819 Crosshill Road, the B757 Auchinloch Road, the B819 Lindsaybeg Road, Lenzie, the A806 Initiative Road and New Lairdsland Road, Lenzie and Kirkintilloch, the A803 Glasgow Road and Kirkintilloch Road, Kirkintilloch, and these routes will be sign posted
