On the 19 March 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on Canal Street, Kirkintilloch from a point 40 metres or thereby southeast of its junction with Canal Lane southeastwards for a distance of 70 metres or thereby to its termination, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
There are no alternative routes.
This Order will operate from 18.00 hours on Friday, 29 March until 18.00 hours on Tuesday, 30 April 2024.
