On the 27 February 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on Langmuir Road, Kirkintilloch, between its junctions with Merkland Drive and Armour Drive, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Sunday, 10 March until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 17 March 2024.
Alternative Route
The alternative routes will be by way of Merkland Drive, the B8048 Waterside Road, Langmuir Road, Armour Drive, Burns Road and Alloway Drive, Kirkintilloch, and these routes will be sign posted.
