On the 9 January 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on Meiklehill Road, Kirkintilloch between its junctions with Shells Road and Meiklehill Avenue, by reason of works being executed on or near this road. This Order will operate from 08.00 hours on Monday, 22 January until 18.00 hours on Friday, 30 August 2024.Alternative Route
Alternative routes will be by way of Meiklehill Road, Highfield Avenue, Highfield Road, Highfield Crescent and Fernlea Road, Kirkintilloch, and these routes will be sign posted.
