(B8050 CRAIGDHU ROAD, MILNGAVIE)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
On the 27 April 2023 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on a section of the B8050 Craigdhu Road, Milngavie between its junctions with Crossburn Avenue and Ferguson Avenue/Lennox Avenue, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.This Order will operate from 09.30 hours on Monday, 8 May until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 21 May 2023. Alternative Route :The alternative routes for vehicles are by way of the B8050 Craigdhu Road, Park Road, Main Street, the A81 Milngavie Road, MacFarlane Road, Canniesburn Toll Roundabout, the A809 Drymen Road and Stockiemuir Road, and these routes will be sign posted. Woodburn Way, Station Road, the A81 Strathblane Road, the A81 Glasgow Road, the A807 Auchenhowie Road, and the B8049 Boclair Road, will also be sign posted.
