THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (GALLOWHILL ROAD, LENZIE)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
On the 1 October 2020 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road) on Gallowhill Road, Lenzie between its junctions with the B757 Kirkintilloch Road and Gallowhill Avenue, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Friday, 9 October until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 18 October 2020
Alternative Route
Alternative routes for vehicles are by way of Gallowhill Road, Boghead Road, the B819 Crosshill Road, the B757 Auchinloch Road, Kirkintilloch Road, the B757 Lenzie Road, Townhead, Parliament Road, the A806 New Lairdsland Road, the A803 Glasgow, Kirkintilloch Road, Cole Road and the B819 Crosshill Road and these routes will be sign posted. Garngaber Avenue, Woodilee Road, the A806 Initiative Road and the B819 Lindsaybeg Road will also be used as an alternative diversion route.
