EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (FOOTWAY ON THE WEST SIDE OF B757 LENZIE ROAD, KIRKINTILLOCH) - (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
On the 15 September 2020 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to use or permit to be used the west footway of the B757 Lenzie Road, Kirkintilloch between the extended north kerbline of Gallowhill Road northwards for a distance of 130 metres or thereby to the extended south kerbline of Civic Way, by reason of works being executed on or near this footway.
This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Monday 28 September 2020 until 18.00 hours on Sunday 27 March 2022.
Alternative Route
Alternative routes for pedestrians at the south end of the footway closure will be by way of the existing traffic signals at the junction of Lenzie Road and Gallowhill Road, then northwards on the east footway of Lenzie Road, then cross at the existing traffic signals on Lenzie Road at Marina Way. Pedestrians at the north end of the footway closure should proceed vice-versa. The route for pedestrians will be sign posted.
