THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL
(NORTH-WESTBOUND CARRIAGEWAY OF THE A81 MARYHILL ROAD, BEARSDEN)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
On the 9 July 2020 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road) on the north-westbound carriageway of the A81 Maryhill Road between the East Dunbartonshire Council/Glasgow City Council Boundary and its junction with Westend, Bearsden, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from (i) 06.00 hours on Sunday, 19 July until 06.00 hours on Monday, 20 July; and (ii) 06.00 hours on Sunday, 26 July until 06.00 hours on Monday, 27 July 2020.
Alternative Route
Alternative routes for vehicles are by way of the south-eastbound carriageway of the A81 Maryhill Road, Caldercuilt Road, Arrochar Street, Invershiel Road, Blackhill Road, the A879 Balmore Road, the B8049 Boclair Road, and the A81 Milngavie Road. These routes will be sign posted.
