(STATION ROAD, BEARSDEN)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2019

On the 21 February 2019 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road) on Station Road, Bearsden between the south face of the bridge structure which supports the Glasgow to Milngavie railway line and its junction with Drummore Road, Drumchapel, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.

This Order will operate from 09:30 hours on Monday, 4 March until 18.00 hours on Monday, 15 April 2019.

Alternative Route

Alternative routes for vehicles are by way of Station Road, Drymen Road, the A809 Drymen Road, Canniesburn Toll and Canniesburn Road all in Bearsden and; Kinfauns Drive, Summerhill Road, Pitmilly Road and Drummore Road all in Drumchapel and; Chesters Road and Thorn Road both in Bearsden; and these routes will be sign posted.
