(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to carry out repairs to culvert
Name of road - U3, From Byres Farm junction through to Glen Burn Farm, 500 yards in total.
Nature and period of restriction - U3 U3, Darvel
This Notice commences on 23 January 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route - U8 via U9 and vice versa.
