East Ayrshire Council (U711 Cairn Road, Cumnock) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022 - East Ayrshire Archived

On 20^th September 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow BT contractors to repair cabling faults:-

U711 Cairn Road - Over its entire length.

The Order commences on 21 September 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.

The works are expected to commence from 8.00am Wednesday 21 September until anticipated completion by 6.00pm on Tuesday 27 September 2022.

Exact days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.

An alternative route will be signed via Skares Road, A70 Ayr Road and B7083 Glaisnock Street in both directions.
