NOTICE is hereby given that under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers use of the following road by the under noted classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein-
Name of road- B743, Ayr Road, Mauchline
Affected length of road - From its junction with Bogmoor Farm entrance to its junction with Arran View.
Nature and period of restrictions- Road closure Saturday 25th June 2022 to Thursday 30th June 2022 between 22:00 hours to 06:00 hours.
This Notice is in force from 22:00 hours on Saturday 25th June 2022 until 06:00 hours on Thursday 30th June 2022 or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Notice will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Reason for restriction - To facilitate repair works on Railway Bridge
Classes of vehicle affected - All (except vehicles engaged in the road maintenance works, emergency vehicles or vehicles requiring access to properties within or via the closed road)
Alternative route:
Diverted traffic should proceed via B743, Ayr Road to B730, Montgomerie Street to B744 to A76, Kilmarnock Road to B743, Loudoun Street and vice versa.
