On 28/06/22 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, by reason of the John Walker Gala to be executed on or near the roads.

 

This Order makes it unlawful-

1. for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on John Walker Drive between its southern junction with Cardhu Cresent and its junction with Dalwhinnie Crescent between approximately 12pm and 5pm on Sunday 3 July 2022

 

Exempt from road closures – vehicles engaged in connection with the operation of the John Walker Gala and emergency vehicles requiring access to adjacent land or premises.

 

The Order shall come into force at 08:00 hrs on 03/07/22 until 18:00 hrs on 03/07/22, or until the Gala day is finished whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

 

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
