East Ayrshire Council (A77,Ayr road, Fenwick) (Temporary Banned Left and Right Turn) Notice 2022 - East Ayrshire Archived

NOTICE is hereby given that under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein- 

Name of Road- A77, Ayr road, Fenwick

Period of restriction and nature of restriction - From 0800 hours on Wednesday 1st June 2022 until 1800 hours on Friday 3rd June 2022

Reason for restriction - To facilitate BT network Upgrades 

Note: Both restrictions will not be in place at the same time.

Banned Left Turn: A77, Ayr Road

- No vehicle shall be permitted to turn left onto M77 Slip Road when travelling Southbound on A77

-Diverted traffic should proceed via A77 to the next roundabout and perform a U-Turn.

Banned Right Turn: A77, Ayr Road

-No vehicle shall be permitted to turn Right onto M77 Slip Road when travelling Northbound on A77. 

- Diverted traffic should proceed via A77 to next Slip Road onto M77 . 

This Notice is in force from 0800 hours on Wednesday 1st June 2022 until 1800 hours on Friday 3 June 2022 or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Notice will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed. 

Classes of vehicles affected - All (except for vehicles engaged in the works)
