On 02/11/21 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above named Order. This Order will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle, daily from 07:00 hrs until 18:00 hrs, on B7038, Kilmarnock/ B7061, Fenwick, from a point 300 m southwest of Dalmusternock roundabout north-eastwards for 2 km, by reason of facilitating resurfacing works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 07:00 hrs on Sun 05/12/21 until 18:00 hrs on Sun 19/12/21, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services and Local Bus Services will be permitted through the works site when it is safe to do so and when directed by a Traffic Marshal.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the closures and through the works site.
Alternative Route: Diverted traffic should proceed B7038 Glasgow Rd, Western Rd, Kilmaurs Rd, Kilmarnock, A735 to Kilmaurs, Fenwick Rd, Kilmaurs, B751 to Fenwick, northwards on A77, B778 Stewarton Rd, Fenwick and B7061 Main Rd, Fenwick and vice versa.
