On 19/10/21 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on U3 Braidley Rd, Darvel, from a point 50m north of Braidley Bridge to a point 50m south of that bridge (except vehicles engaged on the bridge repair works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 06:00 hrs on 01/11/21 until 17:00 hrs on 17/12/21, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via A71, Burns Rd and U3 and vice versa.
