On 14/09/21 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle, Mon to Fri (inclusive) from 06:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs, on route B751 Kilmaurs Rd, Knockentiber/Crosshouse Rd, Kilmaurs, between Hannah Dr, Knockentiber and Towerhill Ave, Kilmaurs, by reason of facilitating resurfacing works to be executed on or near the road. All works are weather dependent.
Alternative Route: via B751 to Crosshouse, B7081 to Kilmarnock, B7064 and A735 to Kilmaurs and vice versa.
Emergency access and pedestrian access will be maintained during the closures and through the works site. Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closures will be permitted to and from their properties when it is safe to do so and when directed by a Traffic Marshal.
The Order shall come into force at 06:00 hrs on 27/09/21 until 18:00 hrs on 02/10/21, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
