On 16/03/21 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on route A70, Coalhall, from its junction with B730 Littlemill Rd eastwards for 365 metres to the junction with B730 (except vehicles engaged on the rail bridge repair works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

From 22:00 hrs on Thurs 27/05/21 until 06:00 hrs on Fri 28/05/21;
From 08:00 until 18:00 hrs on Sun 06/06/21;
From 22:00 hrs on Mon 07/6/21 until 06:00 hrs Tues 08/06/21;
From 22:00 hrs on Tues 08/06/21 until 06:00 hrs on Wed 09/06/21;
From 22:00 hrs on Wed 09/06/21 until 06:00 hrs on Thurs 10/06/21, and
From 22:00 hrs on Thurs 10/06/21 until 06:00 hrs on Fri 11/06/21.
The Order shall come into force at 22:00 hrs on Thurs 27/05/21 until 06:00 hrs on Fri 11/06/21, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency access will be maintained once the portable scaffolding has been moved out of the way.
Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closure will be permitted to and from their properties via the diversion but not through the works site.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via B730 Littlemill Rd to Drongan, B7046 to Sinclairston and Burnton and U728 to Ochiltree and vice versa.
