On 04/08/20 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order that continues the restrictions imposed by East Ayrshire Council (Knockmarloch Drive, Kilmarnock) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2019, which expires at 17:00 hrs on 07/08/20. The Orders make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Knockmarloch Dr, from the western boundary fence of No. 43 Knockmarloch Dr to the eastern boundary fence of No. 25 Knockmarloch Dr, Kilmarnock or for any person to travel on Knockmarloch Dr except for the northern footway, from the western boundary fence of No. 43 Knockmarloch Dr to the eastern boundary fence of No. 25 Knockmarloch Dr, Kilmarnock (except for pedestrians or vehicles engaged on McTaggart Construction’s building works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
This Order shall come into force at 17:00 hrs on 07/08/20 until 17:00 hrs on 06/11/20, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Alternative Route: via Longside Ave, Blacksyke Ave and Shortlees Rd, Kilmarnock and vice versa.
