On 10/12/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on B730, Stair, at Stair Bridge from The Stair Inn north-westwards to the boundary with South Ayrshire (except for vehicles engaged in the parapet repair works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 06/01/20 until 24:00 hrs on 28/02/20, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
It is anticipated that the works will take 1 week but the work is weather dependent.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via A70, A77, B743 and B730 and vice versa.
