NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Notice has been issued under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein—
Name of road - Elmbank Drive, Glebe Road and Glebe Avenue, Kilmarnock.
Affected length of road and nature of restriction -
Glebe Rd - From its junction with London Rd to its junction with Elmbank Dr/Glebe Ave - One Way Traffic (No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle in any other direction other than in a southwesterly direction.);
Glebe Rd (Both sides) - From its junction with London Rd to its junction with Elmbank Dr/Glebe Ave - Prohibition of Waiting (No waiting at any time);
Elmbank Dr into Glebe Rd - Banned Left Turn and
Glebe Ave into Glebe Rd - Banned Right Turn.
Period of Restriction - All restrictions will be implemented from 00:01 hours on Wednesday 12th September 2018 until 24:00 hours on Sunday 16th September 2018.

Reason for restriction - Scottish Power connection works.
Classes of vehicles affected - All (only vehicles engaged in the Scottish Power works and emergency vehicles will be exempt from the prohibition of waiting).
Alternative route:
Diverted traffic should proceed via Elmbank Dr, Loanhead St, Old Mill Rd (Service Rd), Old Mill Rd, Welbeck St, New Mill Rd, Nursery Ave and London Rd OR via Glebe Ave, Nursery Ave and London Rd.
