NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Notice has been issued under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein -
Name of road - U48 Maxwood Road, Galston
Affected length of road - From its junction with Clockston Rd to its junction with U49 Piersland.
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure Thursday and Friday between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours.
This Notice is in force from 09:30 hours on Thursday 5th April 2018 until 15:30 hours on Friday 6th April 2018.
Reason for restriction - To facilitate Openreach upgrade works.
Classes of vehicles affected - All (except vehicles engaged in the Openreach works, emergency vehicles or vehicles requiring access to properties within or via the closed road).
Alternative route: Diverted traffic should proceed via U48 Maxwood Rd, Maxwood Rd, Henrietta St, B7037, C103 Drumdroch/Stoneyhall road and U1 Galston Moor and vice versa OR via U48 Maxwood Rd, Maxwood Rd, Henrietta St, B7037 and Clockston Road and vice versa.
