On 20/02/18 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Route B741, New Cumnock, from Boig Rd to Knockshinnoch Rd (except vehicles engaged in works diverting the water main), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 01/03/18 until 24:00 hrs on 09/03/18, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closure will be permitted to and from their properties.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via A76, A70, B7046 and Boig Rd and vice versa.
