On 12/12/17 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any vehicle to wait at any time or for any person to travel on Cross Street from the property boundary of numbers 11 and 13 Cross St to its junction with A719 Brewland St/Bridge St (except vehicles or pedestrians engaged in building/demolition works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road. The Order comes into force at 16:30 hrs on 22/12/17 until 16:30 hrs on 02/02/18, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed. Alternative Routes: Diversion for vehicles is via A719 Polwarth St, A71 and Titchfield St and vice versa or via A719 Brewland St and Orchard St and vice versa.
Diversion for pedestrians is via A719 Bridge St, Polwarth St and Church Lane and vice versa.
