On 04/09/17 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20mph on Cruachan Pl a distance of 42m or thereby, Merrick Rd (western arm) from Whatriggs Rd to a point 20m southeast of Campsie Rd a distance of 131m or thereby, Merrick Rd (eastern arm) from Whatriggs Rd south-westwards to Merrick Rd (western arm) a distance of 43m or thereby and Whatriggs Rd from a point 14m southeast of Loudoun Ave to its junction with Lammermuir Rd a distance of 282m or thereby, in Kilmarnock, by reason of public safety.

 

The Order shall come into force at 08:00 hrs on 11/09/17 until 24:00 hrs on 29/06/18 and will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
