NOTICE is hereby given that under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein -

Name of road                            - A735 Fowlds Street, King Street and St Marnock Street, Kilmarnock

Affected length of road             - From the intersection of Fowlds St and Old Mill Rd westwards on Fowlds St then northwards on King St then westwards on St. Marnock St to the junction of St. Marnock St and Dundonald Rd.

Nature and period of restriction    - Road Closure daily from 18:00 hours until 06:00 hours.

This Notice is in force from 18:00 hours on Tuesday 18th July 2017 until 06:00 hours on Friday 21st July 2017.

Reason for restriction                - Road Markings

Classes of vehicles affected       - All (except vehicles engaged in the road maintenance works, emergency vehicles or vehicles requiring access to properties within or via the closed road)

Alternative route: 

Diverted traffic should proceed via Old Mill Road, Welbeck Street, Lawson Street, Brewery Road, Bentinck Street, East Shaw Street, West Shaw Street, McLelland Drive and Dundonald Road
