On 15/11/16 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Route U10 Woodhill at Carmel Water Bridge,(from the road end to The Chase south-westwards to Route C24), Knockentiber (except vehicles engaged on the Carmel Water Bridge works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs on 28/11/16 until 24:00 hrs on 23/12/16, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via B751 to Kilmaurs, A735 to Kilmarnock and Route U10 Woodhill to Knockentiber and vice versa.
