On 23/04/12 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time on the southwest side of McLelland Dr (from a point 50m southeast of Mews Lane north-westwards to its junction with Dundonald Rd) or for any vehicle to be driven in a direction other than in a north-easterly direction in Mews Lane (from its junction with Aird Ave north-eastwards to its junction with McLelland Dr) or for an vehicle to be drive from Scott Lane into Mews Lane by carrying out a left turn manoeuvre. These restrictions are required to facilitate the increased number of pedestrians and vehicles visiting the polling station in Mews Lane.

The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs until 24:00 hrs on 03/05/12.

The Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs pertaining to the restrictions are displayed.
