On 9/1/24 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (STOBSWELL AREA, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024 under Section 14(1) of the Rd Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily (1) all northbound vehicular traffic in Princes St between Blackscroft and Victoria St, (2) the prohibition of right turn into Princes St from Lower Princes St, (3) all pedestrian traffic in Princes St on the north footway between Dens St and Princes St, (4) all pedestrian traffic in Princes St on the west footway between Princes St and Ferguson St, (5) all pedestrian traffic in Princes St on the west footway between Ferguson St and Victoria St, (6) all vehicular traffic in Victoria St between Crescent Ln and Princes St, (7) all northbound vehicular traffic in Albert St between Victoria St and Dura St, (8) all pedestrian traffic in Albert St on the west footway between Victoria St and Lyon St, (9) all vehicular traffic in Lyon St from Albert St for a distance of 25m or thereby, (10) all vehicular traffic in Arthurstone Tce between Maitland St and Albert St, (11) all vehicular traffic in Maitland St at its junction with Arthurstone Tce, (12) all vehicular traffic in McGill St from Albert St for a distance of 60m or thereby, (13) all vehicular traffic in Whalers Cl for its entire length, (14) all vehicular traffic in Langlands St between Albert St and Dura St, (15) all vehicular traffic in Balmore St for its entire length, (16) all westbound vehicular traffic in Dura St between Forfar Rd and Harriet St, (17) all vehicular traffic in Park Ave between Albert St and Baldovan Tce, (18) all northbound vehicular traffic in Baldovan Tce from Park Ave for a distance of 100m or thereby and (19) all southbound vehicular traffic in Morgan St between Park Ave and Morgan Place. The Order is operative for 30 weeks from 9/1/24 for SSEN cable renewal works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. The one-way Order relating to Lyon St between Brown Constable St and Albert St will not be in effect for the duration of the Order where there are closures in Lyon St. Closures may not run consecutively and more than one closure may run concurrently.
