On 18/8/21 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (MURRAYGATE, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Murraygate from a point 40m or thereby north of Commercial St for 30m or thereby in a northerly direction. The Order is operative for 6 weeks from 24/8/21 for crane lifting works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Delivery and cleansing vehicles will access and egress from Cowgate end. The one-way order which relates to Murraygate will be suspended for the duration of the works. No alternative route is required as this is a pedestrianised area.
