On 18/8/20 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (DALKEITH ROAD, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Dalkeith Rd from its junction with Arbroath Rd to its junction with Broughty Ferry Rd. The Order is operative for 8 weeks from 24/8/20 for drainage for new housing, with a maximum duration of 18 months. The road will be closed in 2 separate phases, Phase 1 – Arbroath Rd to Waverley Tce and Phase 2 – Waverley Tce to Broughty Ferry Rd. Access to the nursing home and for residents will be maintained at all times from either the north or south end of the works. Alternative route: Arbroath Rd, Craigie Ave, Greendykes Rd, Broughty Ferry Rd and reverse.
