On 5/5/20 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (EAST WHALE LANE, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in East Whale Ln (Phase 1) from its junction with East Dock St for a distance of 13m or thereby north and (Phase 2) southbound from Seagate to East Dock St. The Order is operative for 3 weeks from 11/5/20 for SSEN cable installation works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Phases will run consecutively. Alternative routes: (Phase 1) East Dock St, Market St, Broughty Ferry Rd, Blackscroft and Seagate and (Phase 2) Seagate, East Marketgait and East Dock St.
