On 28/12/18 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (SOUTH WARD ROAD, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2018 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in South Ward Rd from Johnston St to North Lindsay St. The Order is operative for 10 days from 7/1/19 for footway works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Alternative route: Argyllgait, West Marketgait (northbound), Dudhope Roundabout, West Marketgait (southbound), West Bell St, Courthouse Sq and North Lindsay St.
