On 13/11/18 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (STRATHERN ROAD, WEST FERRY, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2018 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Strathern Rd from Claypotts Rd to Victoria Rd (Phase 1), from Claypotts Rd to Duntrune Tce (Phase 2) and from Dawson Rd to the junction of Fairfield Rd and Strathern Rd (Phase 3). The Order is operative for 4 weeks from 19/11/18 for carriageway resurfacing works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. The works will be carried out in 3 separate phases. Only one phase will be in operation at any time. Alternative routes: Claypotts Rd, Victoria Rd and reverse (Phase 1), Claypotts Rd, West Queen St, Dundee Rd, Fairfield Rd and reverse (Phase 2) and (1) Arbroath Rd, Claypotts Rd and reverse or (2) Claypotts Rd, West Queen St, Dunde Rd, Strips of Craigie Rd and reverse (Phase 3).
